I witnessed the same type of climate once in Seattle before during december 06.

It happened in february, there was severe snow storm. I checked our office office status number, it said office will start as normal. After travelling for 21/2 hours I reached office at 11:00. 1:00 PM they said it is half day due to inclement weather. I started 1:30 and it was raining and when I reached home it was sunny. Went to office inspite of storm, early close though sunny. Pretty weird though
Morning it is sunny, afternoon it is sunny, evening it is sunny. All day it is humid. All night it is sweaty. Do you want to experience this come to Chennai. :)
Looks like, being in Chicago you should keep all kinda clothes ready at your trunk all the time. :)

It was hot, snowy inside and finally raining, this is in Chennai during
Summer between April to June of the year......
This is the place in the earth where snow fall happens at 45 deg C.....

Driving 2.5 Hrs to office and then coming to know that office was closing, then drive back home that sucks though...

Though many people dont like chennai climate, It suited me perfectly well. (Chennai being my home town would be the obvious reason)
I feel like charged when I reach office in the morning when I was at TVS.
Due to this, even mysore and bangalore climate didnt suit me initially, its some what cozy and lazy comparing to chennai.
But after lived in mysore and bangalore for nearly 2-3 years, I felt chennai is hot and humid, I still remember the day at chennai airport when I arrived from bangalore.
Its only me who was sweating and other family members are normal.
Now I am at Windy City Chicago, Its known for its extreme weather condition, summer it will reach > 100 F with more humidity and winter it will reach -20's with windy.
Probably its quite long time now that I have been away from Chennai weather, I dont know how its gonna be ??!!
